RŌM: Limited Edition & Custom Sneakers

Ever since I can remember, my brother, Martin, has been an artist and, throughout his lifetime, he has created several works of art from drawings and oil paintings to most recently custom sneakers.  RŌM Designs, my brother’s company, was then born from his artistic passion combined with his love for sneakers and his creative intellect.  Through his company, my brother is able to break up the monotony in the shoe industry by creating limited edition and custom sneakers.  Just about every month a new limited edition design is released.  Not feeling the monthly release?  Then you can place an order for a completely custom one of one pair of sneakers, meaning that there will never be another pair of shoes like yours.  No matter what the design is or who is buying, each pair is treated like a work of art and is meant to bring out the individuality of each person.  Trust me when I say that each handcrafted design is a true artistic creation.

The latest design by RŌM is titled the Mayan Prophecy Dunks.  They have a custom colorway and a hand painted design that pay homage to the Mayan calendar, the Mayan God Huracan, and the December 21, 2012 prediction.  Are you wondering exactly how limited these sneakers are?  Well, there will only be 12 Mayan Prophecy Dunks created worldwide.  Considering there are over 6 billion people in the worldwide, I’d say these  RŌM designs are pretty rare.
