Fight Breast Cancer

Standard

Not only is October the tenth month of the year, but it is also recognized as Breast Cancer Awareness Month.  You will see a lot of pink this month (you may have already noticed NFL players sporting their pink in support of finding a cure).  Companies, organizations, and people everywhere will come together to help fight breast cancer.  Breast cancer survivors and victims will be remembered and honored by those who see them as inspirations in life.  In the past, cancer has hit my family hard and, more recently, my family has been strongly affected by breast cancer, so I, personally, have a strong inclination to fight cancer.  Trust me when I say that this should not be taken lightly.  Please use this month as a starting point to support those who have been affected by this disease.  Do whatever you can whenever you are given an opportunity to help support finding a cure for cancer.  Participate in a fundraiser or simply give some encouraging words to someone who has been affected by cancer.  Every little bit helps, so don’t hesitate in supporting this cause.

To all of the women and their families who are currently battling cancer or have battled this disease, stay strong.  It is a difficult path, but everything happens for a reason.  Fill yourself with strength and remember that there is always somebody looking up to you for inspiration and help.  Never give up and always continue to fight.
